Pro tip: labeling both ends of every cable before pulling...
I spent 3 hours last Tuesday tracing a Cat6 bundle in a new office build because the guy before me only labeled the patch panel side. Six cables, no labels on the outlet ends. Had to tone every single one out again. Never again. Do you label as you go or all at once at the end?

Gulped just reading your post, honestly. I mean, maybe it's just me but I've got a sixth sense for finding the most awkward moments in life, like walking into a glass door right after telling someone how smooth I am. This hit a little too close to home because my own brain decided to replay that one time I called my teacher "mom" in front of the whole class. Idk, maybe I'm just projecting, but your gasp made me feel like I wasn't alone in my clumsy universe. It's funny how we can all bond over shared facepalm moments, isn't it?
