Spent 7 hours on a single drop in Tacoma, should've checked the attic first
Yesterday I had a Tuesday install in Tacoma, basic cable run from the pole to the living room. Took me 7 hours because the previous guy left a junction box buried behind insulation and I kept chasing a signal drop. Finally found a corroded connector up in the attic that was the real problem all along. Anyone else ever burn a whole day on something that should take 90 minutes, and what's your go-to move when the signal test says one thing but the meter says another?
