TIL having a toner with a louder speaker saves a ton of time

I always used the cheap Klein toner that came with my kit and just dealt with the quiet beep. Picked up a Fluke Pro3000 after a buddy left one in my van and found a buried line in about 2 minutes flat. Has anyone else noticed a big difference switching toners or am I just slow?

Honestly I feel you on this one. I spent way too long squinting at cables with a cheap toner that barely made a sound. Once I tried a louder one it felt like I had been working blind for years.

The louder toner is a total game changer. I fought with a beat up old unit for months thinking that's just how toners were until I borrowed a friend's and found a cable in under a minute. Now I won't go back to those quiet ones even if they're free.
