Found a box of old Kodak Retina parts at a flea market in St. Louis
I was digging through a stall and spotted a dusty case full of shutter blades, aperture rings, and even a few rangefinder prisms. The guy sold me the whole lot for 15 bucks, which felt like a steal for some hard-to-find bits. What's the best way to clean and sort a random parts haul like this?

15 bucks is a good deal but man, that sounds like a project. I mean, are you planning to actually fix a camera or is it just for the fun of sorting?

I'd say fifteen bucks is basically the price of a good lunch, not exactly a major investment.

Sorting a random parts bin sounds like my kind of weekend, honestly. I'd probably end up with a dozen tiny screws in one pile and a "what even is this" pile twice as big. Got a good way to keep track of what everything is once it's clean?
