Hit 500 shutter repairs this week and it felt weird

I was counting up my repair logs for the quarter and realized I just crossed 500 shutter fixes since I started this gig five years ago. That's a lot of dead Copal and Seiko shutters. Most of them were from old medium format folders and some beat up Nikon FE bodies. Anyone else keep track of their numbers or am I just a nerd with a spreadsheet?

3 Copal shutters and 3 Seiko shutters died on me last year alone, and I tracked every single one too. But @kaip11, I see that stuff as the opposite of noise - it's the only signal I've got when my whole workflow goes sideways. Keeping those small details straight is what keeps me from losing my mind when the big stuff falls apart.
