Pro tip: check the mirror box foam on old film bodies before you sell them

Last month, I sold a Nikon FM2 that I'd cleaned up, but the buyer said the mirror was sticking on slow shutter speeds. Turns out the foam around the mirror box had turned to goo, which I missed. Anyone know a good source for pre-cut foam kits for 80s SLRs?

My buddy had the same thing happen with his Pentax K1000. He found a seller on eBay with decent pre-cut kits.

My old Spotmatic needed that same fix. I ended up using a piece of leather from a thrift store purse.

Yeah, like @rileyw57 said, those eBay kits are fine but a craft store sheet of black foam is way cheaper for a bunch of cameras.
