Three cameras walked into my shop last Tuesday and I almost cried
Got a beat-up Leica M3 with a stuck shutter, a Nikonos V full of sand, and a pristine Hasselblad 500CM with a broken winder all in the same day - the Leica just needed a drop of lighter fluid on the slow speeds and the Hasselblad had a loose screw in the magazine. Anyone else ever have a day where the easiest repairs pay the most?

That reminds me of when my neighbor found a GoPro washed up on the beach last summer. She dried it out in a bag of rice for two days and it still worked perfectly. Turned out the memory card had some pretty cool underwater footage of fish and coral from somewhere in the Caribbean. She posted on a local Facebook group trying to find the owner but nobody ever claimed it. So she ended up keeping it and now takes it on all her hiking trips.
