Vent: A guy swore his old camera was haunted by a ghost that fogged the lens

He brought in a 1970s SLR with a weird haze inside the viewfinder... said it only showed up after midnight. I thought it was just fungus or a seal leak, but the haze was in a perfect circle shape, not near any seals. I left it under a UV lamp for a few hours as a test, and the circle actually faded. Turns out it was some kind of old grease that had dried and reacted to heat in a strange way. Has anyone else seen a problem that looked like something out of a ghost story?

Wait the circle faded under a UV lamp? That's wild.

Seriously, what kind of ink just vanishes like that? That has to be some weird chemical reaction. Makes you wonder what else they put in there.

Man, I always thought those pens were just a gimmick. Seeing it actually disappear under UV light changed my mind.

It's just a pen... not like it's a secret government thing.
