Found out Jericho got killed because of a writers strike, not low ratings
Honestly I always figured people just stopped watching, but I looked it up after a rewatch and the show pulled around 8 million viewers an episode when CBS cut it in 2008. Turns out the strike messed up the schedule and the network wanted a different kind of drama, not that nobody was tuning in. Ngl that made the fan nut campaign make way more sense, did anyone here actually mail peanuts back then?
