My DVR ate the series finale of Jericho and I drove 40 minutes to a friend's house to watch it live
Back in 2008 my cheap DVR cut off the last 8 minutes of the Jericho finale and recorded a cooking show instead, I was so mad I called my buddy Marcus and drove 40 minutes to his place in Livonia to catch the late rerun. We sat there with cold pizza watching the tank roll into town, and that fan campaign with the 50,000 pounds of nuts actually got CBS to bring it back for a second season. Then they cancelled it again anyway and I never forgave the network. Did any of you ever lose a finale to a recording screw up, and what show was it?

Eh, the nuts thing didn't really save it, they just delayed the axe.
