Walked into a diner in Tulsa and the whole staff was arguing about Firefly
Stopped at a diner off Route 66 in Tulsa on my drive home and the cook and two waitresses were going back and forth about whether Firefly should've gotten a second season. The cook kept saying Fox aired the episodes out of order and that's why nobody watched, which is honestly the best take I've heard on it. Anyone got a show that still bugs them this much?

Did that cook happen to mention how Fox straight up lied about the show's ratings too? They were comparing it to shows that had way better time slots and then acted shocked when it flopped. I still get mad thinking about how they aired the pilot last, like no wonder people were confused about who half the characters were. That whole thing turned me into a bitter person about network TV for years. It's cool you ran into folks who still care enough to fight about it in a diner though, that gives me a little hope.
