Shipped my truck from Phoenix to Seattle twice, two very different bills
Two springs back I paid $1,150 to get my F-150 moved from Phoenix up to Seattle and it sat at a yard in Tracy, California for 9 days waiting on a driver. This time I skipped the brokers and called a small outfit out of Kent directly, and it ran me $890 with a Tuesday pickup and Thursday drop. Same route, same truck, $260 less. The big thing was asking point blank if they owned their trucks or just resold runs. Does anyone keep a short list of small carriers like this, or do you just re-shop the whole thing every move?
