A simple change to my morning routine made a huge difference in my work
For years, I'd start my day by checking email and Slack the second I woke up, which meant I was already stressed before I even had coffee. About three months ago, I read a blog post that suggested waiting 90 minutes before opening any work apps. I was skeptical, but I tried it. Now, I spend that first hour just having breakfast, maybe reading a book, and planning my top three tasks for the day on a notepad. I'm way less frazzled by 10 AM and actually get more done because I start focused. Has anyone else tried something like this and found a specific time that works for them?

Oh, that reminds me of my friend who tried something similar. He swapped his morning scroll for a proper breakfast, something hearty like @phoenix_wood30 was asking about, and said it completely changed his focus. He finally stopped bringing that frantic energy to his first meeting.

Honestly, my brain just doesn't work right until I've had my second cup of coffee.
