Can we talk about how my 401k meeting went way better when I wrote stuff down first?
I sat through a benefits meeting at my job in Phoenix back in January and nodded along like I got it, then still picked the default fund because I felt put on the spot. Last week I wrote down three plain questions on a sticky note before the call, like what the fee percent is and how the match works, and the whole thing took 12 minutes instead of an hour of me stressing. Does anyone else freeze up in those meetings and do better when they walk in with actual notes?
