Had to pick between a stable federal job or a startup with equity
I chose the startup 8 months ago for a 15% pay cut and some stock options. Turns out the equity is worthless and I'm already job hunting again - anyone else get burned by the startup dream?

Maybe the cash comes with a different shirt design? I swear I bought a 'vintage' faded one and that feels like the only thing I got. Still waiting on the part where they just hand me a stack of bills though, must be some loyalty program I missed the memo on.
