Honestly, I just billed my first $20k month in my pest control business
Tbh, I never thought I'd see that number. I've been running this thing for about three years now, and for the first two, I was lucky to clear $8k in a good month. It just clicked this past spring. I got a contract with a big apartment complex in Springfield and a few regular commercial clients. Ngl, seeing that invoice total felt unreal. It's not just the money, it's proof the grind is working. For other small business owners, what was the first big number that made you feel like you were actually getting somewhere?

That's a huge win, congrats. It's wild how it works, right? You push for so long and then a few key things just fall into place and the whole game changes. It reminds me of watching my kid finally figure out how to ride a bike after weeks of wobbling. That first smooth pedal is everything. What was the hardest part to get right before things started clicking for you?

That first smooth pedal feeling is real. For me the hardest part was just not quitting BEFORE the wobbling stopped.

Honestly, just sticking with it through the wobble phase is the real battle.
