Spent 5 years saying yes to every job before my wife pointed at the calendar
I thought hustling nonstop was how you get ahead, but last March she showed me I had worked 28 days straight and made less than I did the month before. Turns out saying yes to every low paying gig just filled my week with stuff that barely covered gas. Anyone else figure this out the hard way, or am I the only one who needed a spouse to call it out?
The calendar thing is real, it doesn't lie even when we do. Filling your week with cheap jobs feels like work but a full schedule means nothing if the money is thin. Good on your wife for catching what you couldn't see while you were in it.
