Bought a $60 digital angle gauge, it paid for itself in one afternoon
I was setting up a sloped deck railing last Tuesday and kept fighting my old level. Picked up a digital angle gauge from the hardware store for 60 bucks, figured I'd use it once and forget it. Got the railing pitch dead on the first try, no redoing the posts. Has anyone else tried one of these or do you still trust the bubble?

Funny you mention that, I grabbed one last spring for a pergola beam that was supposed to have a slight pitch for rain runoff. My old level was useless on that long span, kept second guessing myself. The digital gauge got it dialed in on the first shot and I havent touched a bubble level for angles since. Its one of those tools you think youll use once but then you find excuses to use it, like checking my driveway slope. For 60 bucks it sure beat tearing out a whole post because I trusted the wrong tool.
