Can we talk about hitting 500 stair stringers?

I was cutting stair stringers for a deck remodel in Austin and my helper pointed out we just hit number 500. Ive been doing framing for 11 years so I never actually counted, but that number made me stop. 500 stringers means thousands of risers and treads, and honestly my saw arm still remembers every bad cut. Anyone else keep a mental tally of a specific piece they build over and over, or is that just my weird way of tracking time?

Man, if I tallied every piece I've cut over the years my brain would just be a list of sawdust and bad angles. My knees keep count for me, every creak on a ladder is a stringer I probably measured twice but cut once anyway. Counting to 500 sounds better than my system, which is mostly just hoping the next one lines up with the chalk line.
