Dropped $400 on a cordless framing nailer for a big deck job, and it jammed every 20 nails.

Watch this happen with everything from power tools to coffee makers. Companies seem to think we won't notice the drop in quality if the box looks fancy. You're just paying extra for the frustration now.

All built to break now" - exactly what I was thinking when my $500 fridge died after 2 years. @willow_martin, you're so right about the slipping drill thing, same here with a cheap driver I grabbed. Makes you wonder if they hire people to make stuff fail faster on purpose.
