Just found out lumber yards are supposed to let you pick your own boards, and mine never did
I saw a sign at a yard in Dayton last week that said customers are welcome to sort through the stack themselves, and it made me think about the place I used to buy from for 6 years where the guy would just hand me whatever was on top. I always thought that was how it worked everywhere, but I guess I was wrong. Does your supplier let you dig through the pile, or do they pick for you?
