Lost a whole day to a bad router bit
I picked up a new spiral upcut bit from a local place in Springfield, thought it would be fine for a big cabinet job. It started chattering after 20 minutes and I spent the next 6 hours chasing tearout on cherry plywood. Turns out it was a dull batch from the supplier, has anyone else run into this with cheaper bits?

Did you try roasting it a bit lighter? I had a similar dull batch once and pulling the temperature down about 5 degrees really brought out some better flavor notes. Also let it rest a full 12 hours before brewing, that made a big difference for me.
