Pocket hole jig sat in my drawer for 8 years before I actually used it

Always thought pocket holes were for hobby guys, not real work. Then a built-in cabinet in Denver needed face frames hidden with no visible fastener, so I finally clamped mine down on scrap pine. That little jig saved me 20 minutes per joint versus doweling and the joint held fine after glue-up. Anyone else came around to a tool they mocked for years?

Took me a decade to admit my Kreg was smarter than my pride.
