Night and day" huh? Sounds like you've been living in the dark ages of framing. Did the square finally convince you it could do more than just sit there?

@noah914 Look, I get where you're coming from, but I just don't see it that way. The square format's been around forever for a reason - it works for portraits, landscapes, and everything in between without having to rotate your camera. Sure, I shoot in 3:2 sometimes, but acting like squares are some kind of amateur move feels unfair.
The whole "dark ages of framing" thing is a bit much too. Plenty of pros still use squares for certain projects, especially when they want a clean, balanced look. It's not about being stuck in the past or not knowing better. It's about choosing a tool that fits the job, not chasing trends.
Different formats have different strengths. I like having both options in my bag.
