Thought nail guns were just for speed, but a trim job in St. Louis changed my mind

I always used a hammer for everything. Thought nail guns were overpriced and too easy to mess up with. Last fall I took on a crown molding job for a older house in St. Louis and the homeowner wanted it done in two days. I borrowed a buddy's 18 gauge and it saved me about 6 hours. No split wood, no bent nails. Now I own one but still keep my hammer for rough framing.

Used to feel the same way but that St. Louis trim job would've changed my mind too.

Wait, was it the price that changed your mind or the actual work they did? Trying to figure out where the line is for you cause I keep seeing mixed reviews on their pricing but the results look clean.
