Vent: a guy at the lumber yard in Tulsa told me to stop picking boards by sight
I spent 20 minutes digging through a stack of 2x4s at a yard on 11th Street trying to find the perfect straight ones, and the old guy loading next to me asked why I was making it so hard. He showed me you just pick a decent one and check it with a string line, and I got 12 boards out in 5 minutes instead of fighting the pile. Am I the only one who never thought to bring a string line to the yard?
