Warned my buddy about buying a used table saw off a guy in Bakersfield, he lost $350
He drove 90 minutes to pick it up and the arbor was so worn the blade wobbled a quarter inch, so now it sits in his garage as a $350 paperweight. Always spin the blade by hand and check for play before you hand over cash. Anyone got a good trick for checking arbor runout without a dial gauge?
