Hot take: I blew $80 on a cordless can opener and I'm warning you before you make my mistake
Bought a $79 cordless electric can opener off a late night ad because my hands hurt after opening 7 cans of beans for a chili cookoff in my kitchen in Boise. It jammed on the first can, chewed up the edge on the second, and died halfway through the third. My sister says I'm dumb for not just getting a $9 manual one that clamps to the counter, but I think the electric convenience is worth a second shot. Am I wrong here, or should I just go back to the cheap crank and save my money?
