Rant: My roommate puts the pillowcase on before the pillow and I timed him to prove it takes longer

I watched my roommate in our kitchen in Denver last Tuesday stuff a pillow into a case like he was wrestling a greased pig, so I grabbed my phone and timed it. He clocked 22 seconds, then I did it my way (case inside out, roll, flip) in 8 seconds flat. He said my way was cheating because the pillow never touched the counter, and now we have a bet going with dish duty on the line for a month. Does anyone else do the roll method or am I the weird one here?
