The diner in Reno where a waitress told me to put my socks on before my shoes and I argued for 10 minutes
Last week I was at a diner in Reno and this waitress watched me pull my shoes on over bare feet because I was in a rush. She said nobody should ever put shoes on before socks, even in a hurry, because socks keep your feet from sliding around and getting blisters. I told her I only skip socks when I'm running late, and she said that's not a reason, that's just a bad habit. We went back and forth for about 10 minutes and she would not let it go. So now I'm curious, do you all actually put socks on first every single time, or is skipping them when you're late normal?
