Almost lost a client over a typo in a bid sheet
I was in my truck outside a jobsite in Denver and sent off a quote with $12,000 instead of $1,200, caught it 20 minutes later after the guy already called to accept. Walked it back with a correction and he was cool about it, but now I triple-read every number out loud before hitting send. Anyone else had a dollar sign disaster like this?
