DAE change their mind on remote work after seeing the 3 month difference in their own team?
Was dead set against it back in 2021. Thought people would slack off and stuff would fall through the cracks. Then my team in Columbus went remote for 3 months while our office got renovated, and I watched our ticket close rate go from 68% to 84%. Nobody asked, nobody complained, people just got their work done without the 45 min commute eating their morning. When we came back in person the drop was instant. I'm not saying remote is perfect for everyone but I was wrong about my own guys and that stung a little to admit.
