The $6 food truck taco that made me swear off 'authentic' claims

Last Friday I hit up that taco truck on 5th and Main, the one with the hand painted sign saying 'authentic street tacos'. Paid $6 for three tiny tortillas with maybe two bites of meat each, and they were drowned in some weird creamy sauce that tasted like bottled ranch. I've eaten real street tacos in Tucson for years, and this was closer to a taco bell item with better marketing. Anyone else tired of places slapping 'authentic' on a menu just to charge more for less food?

Tucson truck on 4th charges $8 and tastes like cardboard, so $6 ain't bad.
