Caught myself staring at a stranger's cart for 5 minutes straight
I was at the Target on Highland Ave yesterday waiting in line when I noticed the guy in front of me had 12 boxes of mac and cheese and nothing else. My brain just locked onto that cart trying to figure out if he was stocking a bunker or throwing a party for one. Does anyone else get weirdly obsessed with what other people are buying while you stand there?

Hate to break it to you but the Target on Highland Ave closed like two years ago, it's a Whole Foods now. But anyway yeah I get this totally, I once spent a solid 10 minutes watching a lady buy nothing but 30 cans of wet cat food and a single lime. My brain just kept trying to piece together the story, you know? It's like your mind needs a narrative to make sense of the weirdness. Maybe he was a mac and cheese connoisseur testing different brands side by side (which I respect actually). Or maybe he's just really committed to a single comfort food, no judgment there.

Hold on, Highland Ave Target is actually still open, just the one next to it closed.
