I finally hit my savings goal while staring at a candy rack
Been putting $50 from each check into a jar for a trip, and the total hit $800 today. Anyone else get a weird boost from ignoring impulse buys?

Congrats on hitting that goal... that's a real win. I know that feeling of walking past something small every day and it adding up to something big. Does it make you second guess other small spending now, like grabbing coffee out or something? Feels like once you see how much those little things add up, it changes your whole view on money.
