My card got declined with a bunch of people behind me, so awkward
I was at the checkout and my card got declined for the first time ever. The cashier was cool about it, but I could feel everyone staring lol. How do you handle this without totally freaking out?

Ugh, I mean the key is to just act like it's no big deal and have another way to pay ready. If you smoothly pull out cash or a different card, it cuts the awkwardness in half. Honestly everyone's probably more focused on their own stuff anyway.
