PSA: The self-checkout at the Food Mart on Elm went from a total mess to actually okay in about 4 months.
I used to avoid it like the plague because the scales were super sensitive and the voice kept yelling 'unexpected item in the bagging area'. I got stuck behind a huge line there last November. But I had to use it again this week and it was smooth. No errors, and the touchscreen was way more responsive. I think they finally updated the software or something. What's the worst self-checkout you've ever gotten stuck at?

Nah, the one on Maple is still the absolute worst.

Come on ryanj60, how bad can a place on Maple really be? It's probably just a regular spot with slow service.
