Talked to a cashier at Kroger about why she still uses paper receipts
I was standing in line last Tuesday and the lady in front of me asked for a paper receipt. The cashier said she prefers them because she can look at what she bought later without having to unlock her phone. It hit me that I spend too much time digging through emails for digital ones. I bet a lot of people do the same. Anyone else miss the simplicity of just having a piece of paper in your pocket?

Do you feel like you remember stuff better when you have that physical copy, or is it more about not wanting to deal with your phone? I swear my brain treats paper receipts like short-term memory cards, but digital ones just disappear into the void. Curious if that's a common thing or just me being weird.

Total opposite for me. Digital stuff vanishes, paper is like a sticky note on my brain's fridge.
