That organic produce hype I rolled my eyes at for years finally got me
I used to think paying $4 for a single bell pepper was just dumb marketing. But last spring I grabbed a bag of organic spinach from a farm stand near my place in Ohio because it was the only option left. The taste was just... different. Like actually sweet and not that watery crunch you get from the regular stuff. Then I tried organic chicken thighs from a local butcher and the texture was way firmer, no rubbery weirdness. Now I still skip the overpriced organic avocados, but I check labels on leafy greens and meat every time. Has anyone else found the one thing that actually made you switch over when you thought the whole trend was a joke?

Did you notice the difference with chicken thighs too? I felt the exact same way about organic ground beef. The regular stuff always leaves this weird greasy film in my mouth, but the organic version actually tastes like beef should. It's not even about being health conscious for me, it's straight up flavor. Once you realize the cheap stuff is pumped full of water and fillers you can't un-taste it. Now I'm hooked on organic chicken breasts from the same farm market and I can't go back. The texture is night and day different.
