Vent: spent 25 minutes in line at the Kroger on 5th last week just thinking about my old boss
Stood in the express line at the Kroger on 5th last Tuesday and my brain would not shut up about a guy I worked for back in 2019. He said one sentence at my exit interview that I still chew on in every checkout lane. He said I was good at my job but I never asked for anything. That was 6 years ago and I still hear it in my head every time I am just standing there waiting. Now the belt starts moving and I snap back to real life. Does the checkout lane do this to anybody else? I need to know I am not the only one having old work drama come back while I wait on my grapes to get scanned.
