Can we talk about the walk-in at my new job being set to 41 degrees?

I started at a spot in Portland two weeks ago and the walk-in has been reading 41 all week, so I temped the chicken thighs myself and they were sitting right at 44. Anyone else deal with a place where nobody wants to be the one to call the fridge guy?
