My walk-in freezer in Seattle decided to be a sauna yesterday

The compressor gave out around 2 PM, right before the dinner rush. I had to move about 200 pounds of protein to a backup unit across the kitchen. Has anyone else had a freezer fail and found a good local repair guy fast?

Oh man, that's brutal! A walk-in freezer is a sealed box, so it wouldn't actually get hot enough to be a sauna before you caught it.

I saw a post where a restaurant owner in Portland had the same issue and found a guy named Mike who runs a 24/7 refrigeration service out of his van. He said this Mike guy saved his whole weekend by showing up in an hour with a rebuilt compressor on hand. Might be worth searching Seattle restaurant forums or calling around to commercial kitchen supply places since they usually have the inside scoop on reliable repair guys.
