That Saturday brunch shift where I sold 87 eggs benedict before noon was the absolute BEST day I have had in my 15 year career.
We had 3 people call out sick and I was on eggs by myself but the tickets just kept coming in a perfect rhythm and every single plate went out looking like a magazine cover, has anyone else ever had a shift where everything just clicked like that?

Oh man, that sounds like pure chaos turned into art lol. Elliot's take is funny but nah, a perfect shift for me would be like if all the eggs somehow cooked themselves and the coffee machine never ran out. I had one shift like that once flipping omelets and it felt like I was in the Matrix or something, just moving and everything worked out. But then I hit the floor with a whole tray of hollandaise and reality came crashing back.

Wait, wouldn't a perfect shift actually mean nobody showed up because they were all sick?
