Saturdays are when my 'prep game' turns into pure chaos lol. I swear I plan my whole week around avoiding the rush, and still end up buttering toast with one hand and answering the phone with the other. My 'game' is more like a sad game of Tetris where the pieces are all pancakes. Honestly, hats off to anyone who survives that shift without crying into the hollandaise. I usually just hide in the walk-in for a solid five minutes and pretend the milk is my therapist.
