Finally ditched the shop vac for a proper HEPA dust collector on my sweeps

Used to spend 20 minutes after every job in Attleboro cleaning out my van from all that fine ash dust that got everywhere. That shop vac just blew half of it back out, no matter what filter I used. Last month I grabbed a used Dust Deputy setup off Craigslist for 80 bucks and rigged it with a real HEPA canister. First sweep I did after that, the amount of fine junk it caught was insane, my van stayed clean for the first time in years. Any of you guys run a cyclone separator on your truck rigs, or still just fighting the dust cloud with bags?

Right, because who doesn't love chasing their own dust cloud around like a cartoon character? I swear half the guys I know just accept that their van is basically a snow globe full of ash. Buying a used Dust Deputy for 80 bucks is a steal though, those things are usually going for double that. I'd probably still manage to kick it over and dump everything on my floor mats the first time I took a sharp turn.
