Found a hack for cleaning out offset flue pipes without pulling the whole thing apart

Had a job last week with a really tight offset in a 1900s house. Couldn't get my standard rods to make the bend without jamming up. Ended up trying a flexible polypropylene rod I saw at the supply house for $45. Worked way better than I expected. Got through all 3 bends and pulled out a solid bird's nest of creosote. Anyone else used these flex rods on tricky offsets?

That flex rod saved my butt last month on a real nasty 90 degree offset.
