Had a customer last week who insisted I sweep while she burned a Duraflame log

She said it keeps the soot loose and easier to clean. I just nodded and did it her way, then found a melted plastic wrapper stuck to the damper when I got up top. Anyone else ever get requests that make you cringe but you just go along with it?

@jenny_sullivan97 Wait wait wait... that detail about them just up and leaving without saying a word? That's wild. How can someone do that to a friend, especially after everything you've been through together? I've seen some shady behavior before but that's a whole new level of cold. Honestly makes me wonder what was going on in their head, you know? Like there's gotta be more to the story, but still, no excuse for that kind of thing.
