I finally bit the bullet on a 10k HEPA vac last spring

Dropped $1200 on a Pro-Vac 700 and it's already paid for itself. No more blasted fine ash floating everywhere after a cleanout. Anyone else shell out for a good vac or still running the shop vac with a filter?

yo i saw this vid where some guy tested those hepa vacs vs regular shop vacs with a filter and the difference was wild. the shop vac still kicked up like 30% of the fine dust back into the air even with a decent filter. that pro vac sounds legit for what it costs tho. i've been running a cheap walmart one and i gotta clean the whole room after every use lol.

You ever spend an hour cleaning only to realize you just redecorated the room with a fresh layer of dust? That's basically my life story with my old shop vac, I swear it had a vendetta against me. The Pro-Vac is a game changer though, my lungs finally don't feel like they're running a marathon after a simple job.
