Rant: that $120 "chimney camera" I bought was a total joke

Ordered one of those cheap inspection cameras off an auction site, thought I was being smart. First job it showed me a solid black wall of soot even though the flue was clear, turned out the lens was fogged from day one. Anyone else get burned by budget inspection gear, or do you just stick with a mirror and flashlight?
