Can we talk about how a trip to a trade show changed my mind on manual programming?
I thought it was outdated, but watching experts do it fast changed my view.

Watching someone skilled can totally flip your opinion on anything. I used to think from-scratch cooking was pointless until I saw my friend make pasta faster than I could boil water. Guess manual stuff just needs the right hands to make it look easy lol.

My cousin can fold a fitted sheet in under ten seconds. I, on the other hand, usually give up and stuff it into the closet. Seeing her do it so smoothly changed my mind about ever trying again. It's like she has a secret manual I never got. That's exactly what you mean about skilled hands making manual work look easy. I'm just glad no one is filming my laundry struggles.

My grandma taught me the fitted sheet trick when I was twelve. You tuck the corners inside each other first, then it lays flat. @the_blair, your cousin probably learned it young too, that muscle memory sticks. Some people just get that hands-on skill passed down, others never do. Makes you wonder what else we think is hard just because nobody showed us the first step.
